At the beginning of our history, in 1905, ICN was introduced under the aegis of the Université de Lorraine and the CCI 54, then known as the Institut Commercial de Nancy. In 2003, we took a major step forward by becoming ICN Business School, a state-approved private higher education institution closely associated with the Université de Lorraine.
In 1999, in collaboration with the École Nationale Supérieure d'Art et de Design and with the Mines Nancy, we established the Artem Alliance, an initiative that fosters the fusion of disciplines and catalyzes the development of our innovative pedagogical approach: #ATM.
ICN enjoys status within the Conférence des Grandes Écoles and is widely recognized by the trade press. We are proud to hold several prestigious certificates and accreditations, including the triple crown of AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS. In addition, our commitment to social and environmental responsibility has been rewarded with the DD&RS label.
Our values are based on openness, commitment and team spirit, embodying our vision and mission.
According to Florence LEGROS: "
Our school trains the future managers the economy needs to create wealth and jobs. This reality goes hand in hand with our ambition to support today's managers throughout their careers in the face of professional change”. Indeed, our main mission is to prepare our students to become responsible professionals. Following an initial or continuing transdisciplinary training program, our students will be able to evolve in a globalized economic environment.
Strongly influenced by #ATM pedagogy, we are committed to the creation of cross-disciplinary knowledge. From management to art to technology, we promote sustainable knowledge and practices in the field of organizational management.
The EQUIS label confirms our strategy and the relevance of our quality processes based on our teaching and research activities. Thanks to this label, ICN is now part of the limited circle of 100 world leaders in higher management education.
ICN has signed agreements with foreign universities and has a growing number of foreign students and professors. This international positioning is reinforced by the location of our campuses.
The AMBA label attests the quality of our MBA (Master of Business Administration) programs and their compliance with international academic standards. In fact, this distinction is the oldest and highest for our MBA programs.
The main evaluation criteria are based on the school's strategy and identity, the quality of its teaching and research staff, the program's objectives and content, and the professional performance of its graduates.
AACSB accreditation is an American label of excellence awarded to business schools for 5 years, guaranteeing a high level of academic quality, student experience and corporate relations.
The award of this label is a real recognition of the quality of our training courses: today, only 879 business schools in 57 countries hold this label.
