Sanvi Avouyi-Dovi, Scientific Adviser to the Director General Economics and International Relations, Editor-in-Chief of the Lettre de recherche, Publisher-in-Chief of the Banque de France Blog, and Secretary of the Banque de France Foundation. He was previously Head of the Banque de France Research Centre, before becoming Head of the Economic and Financial Research Division, and adviser to the Director of Microeconomic and Structural Analysis. Prior to joining the Banque de France, he worked as an economist at the Observatoire Français de Conjoncture Économique, as Research Director at Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations and as an economist and researcher at BNP. Sanvi Avouyi-Dovi is a graduate of the école Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration économique and holds a PhD in economics and an HDR qualification (qualification to direct research) in economic sciences. His fields of research range from macroeconomic modelling to finance and applied econometrics. He was Associate Professor at the University of évry then at Paris Dauphine. Since September 2017, he has been an Affiliate Professor at the ICN Business School. He was a member of the jury for the national higher education agrégation examination (2001), and for the research director examinations at the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique. He has published articles in various journals, including European Economic Review, Journal of Banking and Finance, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Money Credit and Banking and Journal of Macroeconomics.
