Olivier Berthod est professeur associé au département ressources humaines et comportement organisationel. Il est également membre du laboratoire de recherche CEREFIGE de l'Université de Lorraine, et professeur affilié en management et organisation à l’Université Constructor de Brême. Titulaire de Masters en sciences de gestion des Universités Paris Dauphine et Linné (Växjö, Suède), il a obtenu son doctorat (rer. pol.) de la Freie Universität Berlin. Ses recherches portent sur les moyens d'améliorer la fiabilité et la prise de décision des organisations dans les secteurs privé, public et non lucratif. Ses travaux ont fait l'objet de prix (Meilleur Article en management public par l'Association Académique Allemande des Sciences de Gestion (VHB) en 2017, Meilleur Papier du Colloque EGOS en 2016) et ont été publiés dans des revues de premier rang, tel que le Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Journal of Management Inquiry, Public Management Review, Public Administration, ou encore Organizational Research Methods.
