Krishanu joined ICN Business School in the Marketing Department in July 2022. Before that, he had taught at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, India for more than a decade. He had earlier served as the Dean of the Department of Management Studies at Acharya Institutes, Bangalore, India. He has worked with corporates like Tata Motors Limited, Mercedes Benz AG and Coca Cola India and had stints with research agencies like Euromonitor Plc., VTT and Educatis University as independent researcher. He possesses an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, INDIA and both his MBA as well as his PhD are from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He has trained a significant number of senior executives from leading Fortune 500 organizations. His research contributions have been published in Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Marketing, European Journal of Operational Research and International Journal of Management Reviews, among others. His current research interests Consumer Culture and Consumption dimensions, analytics in consumer behaviour, Transformative Consumption practices, and exploring consumers’ online identity.
