Campus

Bologne

The University of Bologna is one of Italy's leading universities. It is spread over several campuses - Forlì, Cesena, Ravenna, Rimini and Buenos Aires - and boasts a large number of academic departments

The first year

First year courses are directed at mastering the key fundamentals of international management practices so as to create a sound knowledge base from which to work.
Courses are divided into two academic semesters. The first semester is held in France at the ICN Business School in Nancy and the second in Italy at the UNIBO School of Economics, Management and Statistics in Forlì and Bologna.

Each School integrates company visits to coursework, introducing the local economy and business environment to the students. Industry leaders and managers are also invited to hold workshops and seminars throughout the year, providing practical application to accompany the theoretical framework of the programme.

The second year

During the second year of study, students will spend a semester at one of the partner universities in the MIEX master network. This will give them the opportunity to discover a particular market sector. In the second semester, and depending on the place of study chosen, students will either prepare a double degree including a master's thesis, or carry out an internship in a company (professional project).

A direction word

Many students dream of an international career. “I would like to travel in my future job,” they envision. Granted, but what does an international career mean? What is the profile of an international manager? What are the main characteristics and qualities necessary to succeed in this project?

The transformation of the economic environment caused by globalisation and the development of technologies requires that all managers are able to work in an international environment and cope with international business challenges. Today, doing business needs to take into consideration different cultures, opinions, legal systems, economic interests, policies, organisations, initiatives, goals.

The programme offers an immersive unique learning experience spanning Nancy, Bologna and a third location in China, Latin America or Germany, designed to challenge perspectives from expert faculty in each location on international business and fundamentally change mindset.
